Interpersonal Attraction

sorry for the lack of updates my faithful readers...LOL (its not like i have any)

Learned about "Interpersonal Attraction" in PSY 112..quite quite interesting. It makes Mr Kenneth Phun look a little like a LOVE doctor..

Anyways, there was something about 'Physical Attractiveness" being one of the main factors of attraction, it's true..

For guys right, in class when a really pretty girl walks in, would you want to go talk to her??
Yes? No??
How about a not so pretty girl walks in ??

Well yea, girls will do that too..OMG OMG HOT GUY HOT GUY ! Let's go talk to him..i'm like that

Saw this really cute waiter at a restaurant, stared at him NON-STOP ! i think he realised that my friend and i were staring at him. When he had to walk pass us, he walked really really fast..

Besides that, they also mentioned that attractive people are more likely to be seen as a kind, caring, smart bla bla type of people and the ugly ones are to be selfish, evil and bla bla.....

Mr Kenneth gave examples...Fairy Tales !!

The main character will always be pretty, nice, kind, sweet etc and will always get her prince..

The ugly ones will be always be the unkind selfish step sisters with NO prince or the ugly witch.

Is there no such thing as a super pretty witch???

I wonder if they are really trying to tell kids that once you are unattractive, you will never your prince?? LOL

OMG I thank god that we are all still alive.. I got back from Penang last Monday, wanting to put my mango tea in the fridge. When my dad and I opened the fridge, it smelled like something was burning. The kitchen was all black so we could not see what was going on. As soon as we on the light, everything in the fridge was BLACK.... The first thing we opened was the freezer, we thought something caught on fire or something, when we opened the bottom door, the motor right above the fridge exploded.


All our food was covered with black stains. Amazingly, the eggs which are the nearest to the motor is still in good shape. We threw it away anyways since the smell and all soooo ewwww.....(dad tried one of the eggs, and the smell was still there)

It seriously exploded..

Why I am so thankful that we are all still fine.. Because my grandpa (who was a technician) have not seen this case ever before. The guy who brought our new fridge today told us that he has not seen this case ever before tooo..he told us that we are lucky that our house did not burn down as it could have gotten really serious.. YIKESSS

he told us one thing, when your fridge breaks down a few times, buy a new one..

take extra precaution, if your fridge breaks down (max- twice) BUY A NEW ONE

Anyways, i'm back in my hometown, Penang to visit my grandparents whom i didn't see for a while now..

Class will officially start next tuesday T.T

Can't wait to start learning PSY 112 Introduction to Psychology 2..

Besides that, I am doing fine. REALLY REALLY GOOD. Just in dying need to go shopping but no $$.. =(

OOO guess what i did during the holidays??? NOTHING..but i did eat alot this holiday.. went for steamboat like every week....I know ! I know ! you might think that im a little insane d =) but i was seriously in need for dumpling with tomyam soup..haha excuses.

And now since i'm in penang, I'm craving for goreng pisang/pisang goreng !!!

anyways, she is now staying for only 3 months not one year. After 3 months, if she still wants to stay, the contract will then be extended :)

Besides that, I am kinda working now. I'm giving her english tuition. It is hard since she don't understand english and when i explain it to her, she still don't understand. I don't speak korean so i have no other ways to explain :( sobsss

p.s promise i won't complain about her after this post again

korean what ?!?!?

So sorry that i have not been updating my blog for a super long time..

As some of you have already know that i have a korean girl living with my family and i for a year. She is to study here in Msia and learn english.. The agents told us that this are kids who will like to study in US, UK & Aus in the future but do not speak english.

Some of you may ask why Msia?? My mum and i concluded that it is cheaper for them to study in Msia.

Anyways she got here last wednesday night. First, i was afraid that she turn out to be some korean 'bitch', then my mum was afraid that she will end up being rebellious since she is already 16.

When we first saw her, I was a lil happy cause she looks like my friend's sister (that was my first reaction), then only to realise that she looks like my brother's friend. hmm..anyways..she do not speak any english, it takes her a really hard time to understand what you say. she has this little adorable electronic dictionary which she types a korean word and shows it to me everytime i ask her a question she don't understand.

Yes, i did not like it when she got here..

Fact 1..since i have been sleeping alone in my room for almost 4 to 5 years

Fact 2...i have this really nice computer desk and chair for a year only & now it has to be placed in my brother's room so that we are able put another bed in my room for her.

Fact 3...Had to put in this round table in my room so that i can place my laptop but there is no chair, so i have to sit on my bed which then hurts my back and neck.

Fact 4...sometimes she do not know that she has to close the bathroom door everytime the air cond is on.

Fact 5...she wakes up in the morning and put on make up (its so korean)

Fact 6...she DONT speak any english.

Fact 7... she does not talk unless you talk to her (cant blame her then)

Fact 8...kinda hate when i come back late at night, i cannot on my room light cause she is already sleepinig :(

Fact 9...no more complains :)

Random infos

My finals are already here..fast?? yes super fast. It is already my second semester:)
I only have 2 subjects :) one paper (the hardest of both) is done..i only have one more paper left on thursday, intro to mass comm :)

Headed over for dinner with the guys today...nasi briyani and ayam madu in taman tun :)
Then we got lost to Desa Park City, I sooo wanna live there. *hint hint future husband hint hint*
There is a really nice park there where we can rent bikes :)

Planning to go there on friday again and i was really hoping to bring my dog, who does nothing else but stays home...but but mummy thinks its a bad idea..boohoo T.T..she says he has a temper.

Guess what i said...of course la, you always scold him for no reason. and guess again? she scolded me :(
